UWM, MATL: Big ETF OutflowsMonday, August 6, 2:01 PM ET
Turning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the
universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the
Proshares Ultra Russell2000 (AMEX:UWM ), which shed 7,875,000 shares, or a 62.5%
decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of UWM, in
morning trading today 1 800 FLOWERS.COM Incorporated Class A (NASDAQ:FLWS ) is up
about 0.3%, and 1st United Bancorp FL (NASDAQ:FUBC ) is lower by about 0.9%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the
Daily Basic Materials Bull 3x Shares (AMEX:MATL ), which lost 50,000 of its
shares, for a whopping 33.3% decline in outstanding shares. Among the
largest underlying components of MATL, in morning trading today Materials
Select Sector Spdr (AMEX:XLB ) is up about 0.7%.
