On Thursday evening, Texas Instruments (NASDAQ:TXN) declared its quarterly dividend of 21 cents per share, an increase of about 24% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 2.9% going forward.
Shares of TXN were higher on Friday afternoon, gaining just under 1% today.
In other dividend news, Air Products & Chemicals (NYSE:APD) maintained its quarterly dividend of 64 cents per share. Darden Restaurants (NYSE:DRI) maintained its quarterly dividend of 50 cents per share. And American Water Works (NYSE:AWK) maintained its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share.
Among dividned increases, Yum! Brands (NYSE:YUM) announced its quarterly dividend of 33.5 cents per share, an increase of about 18% over its prior dividend in July of 28.5 cents.
