Verizon Communications Incorporated (NYSE:VZ) announced its quarterly dividend of 51.5 cents per share, an increase of about 3% over its prior dividend in July of 50 cents. The dividend carries a yield of 4.7%, based on Wednesday's closing price.
Shares are higher by about seven tenths of a percent.
In other dividend news, Chubb Corporation (NYSE:CB) maintained its quarterly dividend of 41 cents per share. Hess Corporation (NYSE:HES) maintained its quarterly dividend of 10 cents per share. Iron Mountain Incorporated (NYSE:IRM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 27 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Brady Corporation (NYSE:BRC) announced its quarterly dividend of 19 cents per share, an increase of about 3% over its prior dividend in July of 18.5 cents.
