In trading on Monday, cigarettes & tobacco shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 0.7%. Leading the group were shares of Star Scientific (NASDAQ:STSI), up about 1.9% and shares of Lorillard (NYSE:LO) up about 1.6% on the day.
Also showing relative strength are waste management shares, up on the day by about 0.5% as a group, led by Waste Connections (NYSE:WCN), trading up by about 7.8% and Progressive Waste Solutions (NYSE:BIN), trading up by about 0.5% on Monday.
