Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) announced its quarterly dividend of 50 cents per share, an increase of about 9% over its prior dividend in August of 46 cents. The dividend will be paid on December 28, 2012.
Shares are higher by about half of one percent.
In other dividend news, Eli Lilly & Company (NYSE:LLY) maintained its quarterly dividend of 49 cents per share. Southern Company (NYSE:SO) maintained its quarterly dividend of 49 cents per share. Cummins Incorporated (NYSE:CMI) maintained its quarterly dividend of 50 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ:CTAS) announced a dividend of 64 cents per share, an increase of about 19% over its prior dividend in November of 54 cents.
