Mattel Incorporated (NASDAQ:MAT) maintained its quarterly dividend of 31 cents per share. The dividend will be payable on December 14, 2012, to stockholders of record on November 28, 2012, reflecting an annualized dividend of $1.24 per share, which represents a 35% increase to last year's total dividends. During the third quarter of 2012, the Company repurchased 139,000 shares of its common stock at a cost of approximately $5 million.
Shares are higher by about 3.6 percent.
In other dividend news, Stanley Black & Decker Incorporated (NYSE:SWK) maintained its quarterly dividend of 49 cents per share. Whirlpool Corporation (NYSE:WHR) maintained its quarterly dividend of 50 cents per share. NRG Energy Incorporated (NYSE:NRG) maintained its quarterly dividend of 9 cents per share. Atlantic Power Corporation (NYSE:AT) maintained its monthly dividend of 9.583 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Calumet Specialty (NASDAQ:CLMT) announced its quarterly dividend of 62 cents per share, an increase of about 5% over its prior dividend in August of 59 cents.
