Paychex Incorporated (NASDAQ:PAYX) announced its quarterly dividend of 33 cents per share, an increase of about 3% over its prior dividend in July of 32 cents. The dividend is payable November 15 to shareholders of record November 2. The company also announced that the Board has authorized the purchase of up to $350 million of its common stock.
Shares are higher by about a third of a percent.
In other dividend news, Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 22 cents per share. Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 1 cent per share. Metlife Incorporated (NYSE:MET) maintained a dividend of 74 cents per share. Praxair Incorporated (NYSE:PX) maintained its quarterly dividend of 55 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Aflac Incorporated (NYSE:AFL) announced its quarterly dividend of 35 cents per share, an increase of about 6% over its prior dividend in August of 33 cents.
