Solar City Files for Proposed IPO Monday, October 8, 1:04 PM ET
SolarCity, a provider of clean distributed energy, on Friday filed a registration statement with the SEC for a proposed IPO. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not been determined. SolarCity intends to apply to list its common stock on The NASDAQ under the ticker symbol 'SCTY'.
Goldman, Sachs, Credit Suisse Securities, and Bank of America/Merrill Lynch will act as joint book-running managers for the offering. Needham & Company, LLC and Roth Capital Partners will act as co-managers.
