ADP Uses New Methods In October Jobs Report Thursday, November 1, 2:59 PM ET
This morning, ADP reported that companies added 158,000 jobs in October, topping estimates of 135,000 jobs. October marked the first month that ADP is using its revised methodology which is meant to bring its numbers more in line with the Department of Labor's jobs data. As a result of the new methodology, ADP revised its September estimates lower to 88,200 jobs gained.
