Williams Companies (NYSE:WMB) announced its quarterly dividend of 32.5 cents per share, an increase of about 4% over its prior dividend in August of 31.3 cents. The dividend is payable on December 24, 2012, to holders of record at the close of business on Dec. 7.
Shares are higher by about two percent.
In other dividend news, Intuit Incorporated (NASDAQ:INTU) maintained its quarterly dividend of 17 cents per share. Air Products & Chemicals Incorporated (NYSE:APD) maintained its quarterly dividend of 64 cents per share. PPL Corporation (NYSE:PPL) maintained its quarterly dividend of 36 cents per share. Sigma Aldrich Corporation (NASDAQ:SIAL) maintained its quarterly dividend of 20 cents per share.
