The High Yield Equity Dividend Achievers Portfolio ETF (AMEX:PEY) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 809,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 229,000. Shares of PEY were down about 2.1% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Abbott Labs (NYSE:ABT), trading off about 1.7% with over 3.2 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Avon Products (NYSE:AVP), off about 2.9% on volume of over 3.1 million shares. Clorox (NYSE:CLX) is the component faring the best Wednesday, lower by about 0.3% on the day, while Westamerica Bancorp (NASDAQ:WABC) is lagging other components of the High Yield Equity Dividend Achievers Portfolio ETF, trading lower by about 3.2%.
