The S&P 500 BuyWrite Portfolio ETF (AMEX:PBP) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 314,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 146,000. Shares of PBP were down about 0.4% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Bank of America (NYSE:BAC), trading down about 0.2% with over 32.4 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Ford Motor (NYSE:F), off about 0.9% on volume of over 12.4 million shares. Expedia (NASDAQ:EXPE) is the component faring the best Thursday, up by about 4% on the day, while JC Penney (NYSE:JCP) is lagging other components of the S&P 500 BuyWrite Portfolio ETF, trading lower by about 2.2%.
