The RVE Hard Assets Producers ETF (AMEX:HAP) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 119,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 30,000. Shares of HAP were up about 1.1% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Alcoa (NYSE:AA), trading up about 0.6% with over 4.5 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Kinross Gold (NYSE:KGC), down about 0.4% on volume of over 3.9 million shares. Adecoagro SA (NYSE:AGRO) is the component faring the best Thursday, higher by about 4.6% on the day, while Turquoise Hill Resources Limited (TSE:TRQ.CA) is lagging other components of the RVE Hard Assets Producers ETF, trading lower by about 3.4%.
