The SPDR S&P Emerging Markets Small Cap ETF (AMEX:EWX) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 203,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 111,000. Shares of EWX were up about 0.4% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Ldk Solar Limited (NYSE:LDK), trading down about 1.5% with over 773,000 shares changing hands so far this session, and Suntech Power Holdings Limited EA (NYSE:STP), off about 2.9% on volume of over 730,000 shares. Autonavi Holdings Limited (NASDAQ:AMAP) is the component faring the best Friday, up by about 1.8% on the day, while Youku Tudou (NYSE:YOKU) is lagging other components of the SPDR S&P Emerging Markets Small Cap ETF, trading lower by about 3.1%.
