In trading on Thursday, the Solar Energy ETF (AMEX:KWT) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.1% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Sunpower (NASDAQ:SPWR), up about 11.7% and shares of Enphase Energy (NASDAQ:ENPH), up about 6.2% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the iShares Dow Jones U.S. Telecommunications Sector Index Fund ETF (AMEX:IYZ), off about 2.5% in Thursday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Thursday were shares of Centurylink (NYSE:CTL), lower by about 19.7%, and shares of Windstream (NASDAQ:WIN), lower by about 8.1% on the day.
