Turning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (AMEX:XLP), which shed 3,950,000 shares, or a 2.5% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLP, in morning trading today Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:PG) is up about 1.1%, and Philip Morris International Incorporated (NYSE:PM) is up by about 0.3%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Proshares Short FTSE China 25 (AMEX:YXI), which lost 100,000 of its shares, for a whopping 40.0% decline in outstanding shares.
