Darden Restaurants (NYSE:DRI) announced that it earned $134.4 million, or $1.02 per share, down from $164.1 million, or $1.25 per share, in the same period last year. Analysts were expecting earnings of $1.01 per share. Revenue increased by five percent to $2.26 billion from $2.16 billion, meeting expectations.
Tiffany (NYSE:TIF) announced that it earned $179.6 million, or $1.40 per share in the quarter ended on January 31st. Revenue increased by four percent to $1.24 billion. Analysts had expected earnings of $1.36 per share on $1.25 billion in revenue.
