The iShares Russell Midcap Growth Index Fund ETF (AMEX:IWP) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 1.1 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 413,000. Shares of IWP were up about 0.4% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Pandora Media (NYSE:P), trading up about 17.6% with over 20.1 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI), up about 0.6% on volume of over 10.2 million shares. Foot Locker (NYSE:FL) is lagging other components of the iShares Russell Midcap Growth Index Fund ETF Friday, trading lower by about 6.3%.
