Bargain hunters are wise to pay careful attention to insider buying, because although there are many various reasons for an insider to sell a stock, presumably the only reason they would use their hard-earned cash to make a purchase, is that they expect to make money. Today we look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Wednesday, Molina Healthcare Inc (NYSE:MOH)'s Director, Dale B. Wolf, made a $229,503 purchase of MOH, buying 7,000 shares at a cost of $32.79 each. Molina Healthcare Inc is trading off about 0.3% on the day Monday.
And on Thursday, Director Ian M. Saines bought $188,424 worth of Air Lease (NYSE:AL), buying 6,630 shares at a cost of $28.42 a piece. Air Lease Corp is trading off about 1% on the day Monday. Saines was up about 3.3% on the purchase at the high point of today's trading session, with AL trading as high as $29.37 at last check today.
