Silver Spring Networks Prices IPO Wednesday, March 13, 4:02 PM ET
Silver Spring Networks (NYSE:SSNI), a leading networking platform and solutions provider for smart energy networks, today announced the pricing of its IPO of 4,750,000 shares of common stock at a price to the public of $17.00 per share. The shares are expected to begin trading on The New York Stock Exchange on March 13, 2013 under the symbol "SSNI." All of the shares being sold in the offering are being sold by Silver Spring Networks. The underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 712,500 shares of common stock from Silver Spring Networks at the initial public offering price.
Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering and Piper Jaffray, Stifel Nicolaus, Robert W. Baird, Canaccord Genuity, Evercore Group, and Pacific Crest Securities are acting as co-managers.
