The SPDR S&P Emerging Markets Small Cap ETF (AMEX:EWX) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 340,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 117,000. Shares of EWX were off about 0.2% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Suntech Power Holdings Limited EA (NYSE:STP), trading down about 4.5% with over 13.1 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Youku Tudou (NYSE:YOKU), trading flat on volume of over 621,000 shares. Autonavi Holdings Limited (NASDAQ:AMAP) is the component faring the best Thursday, up by about 2.4% on the day.
