The Vanguard MSCI Europe ETF (AMEX:VGK) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 3.4 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 2.1 million. Shares of VGK were down about 0.1% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Nokia (NYSE:NOK), trading up about 1.2% with over 26.7 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Arcelormittal SA Luxembourg (NYSE:MT), off about 3.5% on volume of over 7.2 million shares. Coca Cola Hellenic Bttlg (NYSE:CCH) is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 5.2% on the day, while National Bank Greece SA (NYSE:NBG) is lagging other components of the Vanguard MSCI Europe ETF, trading lower by about 8.3%.
