Turning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF (AMEX:VWO), which shed 7,594,806 shares, or a 0.5% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of VWO, in morning trading today China Mobile Hong Kong Limit (NYSE:CHL) is off about 1.2%, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturi (NYSE:TSM) is up by about 1.4%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Semiconductor ETF (AMEX:SMH), which lost 2,150,000 of its shares, for a whopping 21.2% decline in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of SMH, in morning trading today Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) is off about 0.7%, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturi (NYSE:TSM) is up by about 1.4%.
