With its earnings announcement yesterday, Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) declared its quarterly dividend of $3.05 per share, an increase of 15% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of 3% going forward.
Shares of AAPL were flat in mid-afternoon trading on Wednesday.
Among dividend increases, Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) announced its quarterly dividend of 30 cents per share, an increase of about 20% over its prior dividend. Corning (NYSE:GLW) announced its quarterly dividend of 10 cents per share, an increase of about 11%. W.W. Grainger (NYSE:GWW) announced its quarterly dividend of 93 cents per share, an increase of about 16% over its prior dividend. And Energy Transfer Equity (ETE) announced its quarterly distribution of 64.5 cents per share, an increase of about 2%.
