This morning, Goldman Sachs upgraded shares of Amgen (NASDAQ:AMGN) from neutral to buy as near-term catalysts could propel the stock higher. With the upgrade, Goldman set a $130 price target and added the stock to its Conviction Buy List. Shares of Amgen were higher by 1.3% this morning.
Nomura upgraded shares of Freeport-McMoran (NYSE:FCX) from neutral to buy citing valuation. The report stated that the stock appears oversold and deserves to trade at higher multiples. With the upgrade, Nomura set a $38 price target. Shares of FCX were lower, despite the report, falling 1.9% today.
And BMO increased its price target on shares of Avon (AVP) to $27 as margins are improving at the company. With the higher price target, BMO increased its EPS estimates and reiterated its outperform rating. Shares of AVP were lower with the markets, falling 0.6% so far.
