This morning, Ares Capital (NASDAQ:ARCC) declared its quarterly dividend of 38 cents per share, maintaining the amount paid to shareholders last quarter. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 8.4% going forward. Shares of ARCC were lower today, falling 0.4%.
In other dividend news, Great Plains Energy (NYSE:GXP) maintained its quarterly dividend of 21.75 cents per share. And PS Business Parks (NYSE:PSB) maintained its quarterly dividend of 44 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Baxter International (NYSE:BAX) announced its quarterly dividend of 49 cents per share, an increase of about 9% over its prior dividend. And Trinity Industries (NYSE:TRN) announced its quarterly dividend of 13 cents per share, an increase of about 18% over its prior dividend in April of 11 cents.
