This morning, the Bank of Nova Scotia Halifax (NYSE:BNS) declared its quarterly dividend of 60 cents per share, maintaining the amount paid to shareholders last quarter. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 4.2% going forward. Shares of BNS were lower on Tuesday, falling 0.4% so far.
In other dividend news, NextEra Energy (NYSE:NEE) maintained its quarterly dividend of 66 cents per share. L Brands (LTD) maintained its quarterly dividend of 30 cents per share. SPX Corporation (SPW) maintained its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share. And Oxford Lane Capital (NASDAQ:OXLC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 55 cents per share.
