This morning, the Starwood Property Trust (NYSE:STWD) declared its quarterly dividend to 46 cents per share, an increase of about 5% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 6.5% going forward. Shares of STWD were higher on the news, climbing 3.1% today.
In other dividend news, Plum Creek Timber (PCL) announced its quarterly dividend of 44 cents per share, an increase of about 5% over its prior dividend. Mine Safety Appliances (NYSE:MSA) announced its quarterly dividend of 30 cents per share, an increase of about 7%. W&T Offshore (NYSE:WTI) announced its quarterly dividend of 9 cents per share, an increase of 12.5% over its prior dividend. And Terreno Realty (NYSE:TRNO) announced its quarterly dividend of 13 cents per share, an increase of about 8%.
