The iShares Russell Top 200 Value Index Fund (IWX) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 207,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 41,000. Shares of IWX were up about 0.8% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Pfizer (PFE), trading up about 0.1% with over 70 million shares changing hands so far this session, and General Electric (GE), up about 1.5% on volume of over 37 million shares. Marathon Oil (MRO) is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 2.5% on the day, while Newmont Mining (NEM) is lagging other components of the iShares Russell Top 200 Value Index Fund, trading lower by about 3.1%.
