Stocks were headed higher on Monday morning after the S&P revised its credit outlook on the US debt from "Negative" to "Stable".
Good morning this is Tracey Fitzpatrick with the Week Ahead Market Report for June 10, 2013.
In overseas trading, Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average advanced by nearly 5% while the Hang Seng was higher by just 0.2%. The FTSE 100 was higher by 1.1% this morning and the German DAX advanced 0.9%.
On the earnings front, LDK Solar (LDK) reports on Tuesday, H&R Block (NYSE:HRB) report on Wednesday and Smithfield Foods (SFD) reports on Friday.
In economic news, the Treasury Budget is released on Wednesday, initial jobless claims come out on Thursday and Industrial Production data for May comes out on Friday.
