Turning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the Utilities Select Sector SPDR Fund (NYSE:XLU), which shed 6.2 million shares, or a 4.0% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLU, in morning trading today Duke Energy (NYSE:DUK) is up about 0.8%, and the Southern Company (NYSE:SO) is up by about 1.4%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Daily Gold Miners Bear 3x Shares (NYSE:DUST), which lost 200,000 of its shares, for a whopping 19.0% decline in outstanding shares.
