Looking today at week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest inflow was seen in the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (NYSE:XLF), which added 21.3 million shares, or a 2.7% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLF, in morning trading today Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK.B) is trading flat, and Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) is up by about 0.3%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest increase in inflows was the Basic Materials GEMS ETF (LGEM), which added 100,000 shares, for a whopping 33.3% increase in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of LGEM, in morning trading today Gerdau (NYSE:GGB) is up about 2%, and Anglogold Ashanti (NYSE:AU) is up by about 4.9%.
