This morning, Dish Network (NASDAQ:DISH) reported a second quarter loss of $11.1 million, or two cents per share, as the company took a $438 million impairment charge related to satellite acquistions. In the quarter, revenue increase by just 1% to $3.61 billion, missing Wall Street estimates of $3.65 billion, and pay-TV subscribers decreased by 78,000, leaving the company with roughly 14 million subscribers. Shares of DISH were headed lower on Tuesday as investors were disappointed with the results.
