This morning, Philip Morris International (NYSE:PM) declared its quarterly dividend of 94 cents per share, an increase of about 11% over its previous dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 4.4% going forward. Shares of Philip Morris International were higher on the news, picking up 2.3% so far.
In other dividend news, Staples (SPLS) maintained its quarterly dividend of 12 cents per share. And Iron Mountain (NYSE:IRM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 27 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, International Paper (NYSE:IP) announced its quarterly dividend of 35 cents per share, an increase of about 17% over its prior dividend. RAIT Financial Trust (NYSE:RAS) announced its quarterly dividend of 15 cents per share, an increase of about 15%.
