This morning, Groupon (NASDAQ:GRPN) announced it has acquired privately held Blink, a mobile app used to book last minute travel in Europe. Blink operates in eight different European countries and has partnered with more than 2000 hotel partners to help manage room inventory. Groupon said it plans to add Blink to its Groupon Getaway business and rebrand the app "Blink by Groupon". Shares of Groupon were higher by nearly 2% in early trading.
