This morning, 3M (NYSE:MMM) reported third quarter earnings of $1.23 billion, or $1.78 per share, as revenue climbed by 6% to $7.92 billion. The company topped both earnings and revenue estimates put out by Wall Street analyst, prompting shares to climb in early trading. In the report, 3M also narrowed its full year earnings guidance to the range of $6.65 to $6.75 per share with organic sales growth of three to four percent. Shares of 3M were higher by about 0.9% this morning.
