This morning, BMO Capital Markets lowered its price target on shares of Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ) to $24 as the company's near-term guidance could be lowered. In the report, BMO maintained its market perform rating. Shares of HPQ were lower on the news, falling 1.5% so far.
And Sterne Agee downgraded shares of JC Penney (JCP) to a neutral rating following recent channel checks. The report noted that few changes since previous checks which is not encouraging for a company in the middle of a turnaround. Steren Agee set a $9 price target in the report. Shares of JCP remain volatile, climbing 5.4% today.
