Today, Enterprise Products Partners (NYSE:EPD) announced that the board of directors of its general partner declared an increase in the quarterly cash distribution paid to partners to 69 cents per common unit. This distribution, which represents a 6.2 percent increase over the 65 cent per unit distribution declared with respect to the third quarter of 2012, is the 46th distribution increase since Enterprise's initial public offering in 1998 and the 37th consecutive quarterly increase.
Companies maintaining their dividends include Whirlpool Corporation (NYSE:WHR) with its quarterly dividend of 62.5 cents per share, SM Energy Company (NYSE:SM) with a dividend of 5 cents per share, Ameren Corporation (NYSE:AEE) with its quarterly dividend of 40 cents per share and Ryder System (NYSE:R) with a dividend of 34 cents per share.
