PepsiCo (NASDAQ:PEP) reported core earnings per share of $1.24 for the third quarter and organic revenue growth of 3.3 percent for the quarter. Organic revenue grew 3.9 percent year to date and core constant currency EPS increased 12 percent year to date. Reported net revenue grew 2 percent year to date. Snacks volume rose 3 percent while beverage volume declined 1 percent. Shares of Pepsico are higher by 1.3% so far today.
Comerica (NYSE:CMA) posted third quarter 2013 net income of $147 million and earnings per diluted share came in at 78 cents, handily beating expectations. CMA shares up higher by nearly 2%.
Mattel (NASDAQ:MAT) reported net income of $422.8 million, or $1.21 per share, compared to last year's third quarter net income of $365.9 million, or $1.04 per share. For the quarter, net sales were $2.21 billion, up 6%. Shares of MAT are trading higher by nearly 3% today.
