This morning, Factset Research Systems (NYSE:FDS) declared its quarterly dividend of 35 cents per share, maintaining the amount paid to shareholders the prior quarter. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 1.2% going forward. Shares of Factset were modestly higher today, gaining 0.2% so far.
In other dividend news, Freightcar America (NASDAQ:RAIL) maintained its quarterly dividend of 6 cents per share. Knightsbridge Tankers (VLCCF) maintained its quarterly distribution of 17.5 cents per share. And Diana Containerships (DCIX) maintained its quarterly dividend of 15 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Western Digital (NASDAQ:WDC) announced its quarterly dividend of 30 cents per share, an increase of 20% over its prior dividend.
