This morning, Morgan Stanley upgraded shares of BB&T (BBT) from equal weight to overweight citing valuation. In the report, BB&T notes that the stock has lag its peer group, creating a value opportunity for investors. Morgan Stanley set a $40 price target with the upgrade. Shares of BB&T were higher by 1.3% on the news.
RBC Capital upgraded shares of Johnson Controls (NYSE:JCI) from sector perform to outperform as the upcoming analyst meeting could be a catalyst for the stock. In the report, RBC says earnings could reach $5 per share and set a $61 price target. Shares of JCI were flat on Wednesday, trading just below $50 per share.
Jefferies increased its price target on shares of Steel Dynamics (NASDAQ:STLD) to $20 as demand is beginning to grow. In the report, Jefferies increased its EPS estimates, but maintained its hold rating. Shares of Steel Dynamics were higher by 2.2% today.
And MKM Partners initiated coverage on shares of Whirlpool (NYSE:WHR) wit a buy rating as the company still has room to grow earnings. In the report, MKM set a $183 price target. Shares of Whirlpool were lower, despite the report, falling 1.1% so far.
