US Economy Grows By 3.8% In Q3 Thursday, December 5, 11:30 AM ET
This morning, the Commerce Department reported that the US economy grew by 3.6% in the third quarter -- a pace not seen since the first quarter of 2012. The reported GDP growth is well above the initial reading of 2.8% and handily topped economists' estimates of 3% growth. Despite the encouraging report, investors remain focused on how the Federal Reserve will react to the news.
