After the bell on Thursday, Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE:ANF) increased its full year earnings guidance to the range of $1.55 to $1.65 per share. The company said that cost cutting efforts and improved sales both domestically and internationally prompted the improved guidance. In the report, Abercrombie & Fitch noted that sales at stores open at least a year fell by 6% over the past six week -- a time period that includes the holiday shopping season. Investors were focused on the positives in the report, sending shares higher by more than 14% on Friday morning.
