This morning, Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) declared its quarterly dividend of 22.5 cents per share, an increase of about 15% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 1.7% going forward. Shares of Comcast were higher on the news, gaining 1.2% so far.
In other dividend news, Energizer Holdings (NYSE:ENR) maintained its quarterly dividend of 50 cents per share. And Zions Bancorporation (NASDAQ:ZION) maintained its quarterly dividend of 4 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, AO Smith (NYSE:AOS) announced its quarterly dividend of 15 cents per share, an increase of 25% over its prior dividend. And Williams Partners (NYSE:WPZ) announced its quarterly distribution of 89.25 cents per share, an increase of about 2%.
