This morning, Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) reported fourth quarter earnings of $2.25 billion, or $4.60 per share, as revenue slid to $8.78 billion. The company topped Wall Street estimates on both the top and bottom line, but shares are trading close to even this morning. In the report, Goldman noted that investment banking earnings jumped by 22% to $1.72 billion. Shares of Goldman Sachs were trading just below $179 on Thursday morning.
