The Market Vectors Uranium ETF (NYSE:URA) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 513,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 102,000. Shares of URA were up about 1.2% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Mega Uranium (TSE:MGA.CA), trading trading flat with over 3.3 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Denison Mines (TSE:DML.CA), off about 0.7% on volume of over 2.5 million shares. Uranium Resources (URRE) is the component faring the best Wednesday, higher by about 8.5% on the day, while Fission 3.0 (CVE:FUU.CA) is lagging other components of the Market Vectors Uranium ETF, trading lower by about 10%.
