This afternoon, General Electric (NYSE:GE) declared its quarterly dividend of 22 cents per share, maintaining the amount paid to shareholders the previous quarter. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 3.5% going forward. Shares of GE were higher on Friday, gaining 0.6% so far.
In other dividend news, DTE Energy (NYSE:DTE) maintained its quarterly dividend of 65.5 cents per share. And Republic Services (NYSE:RSG) maintained its quarterly dividend of 26 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Union Pacific (NYSE:UNP) announced its quarterly dividend of 91 cents per share, an increase of about 15%. And Fluor (NYSE:FLR) announced its quarterly dividend of 21 cents per share, an increase of about 31% over its prior dividend.
