This morning, Southwest Gas (NYSE:SWX) declared its quarterly dividend of 36.5 cents per share, an increase of about 11% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 2.7% going forward. Shares of SWX were lower on Thursday, falling 0.5% so far.
In other dividend news, General Growth Properties (GGP) announced its quarterly dividend of 15 cents per share, an increase of about 7%. Nordstrom (NYSE:JWN) announced its quarterly dividend of 33 cents per share, an increase of about 10% over its prior dividend. Northstar Realty Finance (NRF) announced its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share, an increase of about 19%. And Kohl's (NYSE:KSS) announced its quarterly dividend of 39 cents per share, an increase of about 11%.
