This morning, Macy's (NYSE:M) reported fourth quarter earnings of $811 million, or $2.16 per share, as revenue slid to $9.2 billion. The company missed Wall Street earnings estimates by a penny and fell just short of sales estimates, adding pressure to the stock on Tuesday morning. In the report, Macy's said sales at stores open at least a year climbed by just 1.4% -- also short of Wall Street estimates. In early trading, shares of Macy's were lower by about 1%.
