Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares MSCI Japan ETF (AMEX:EWJ), where 3,600,000 units were destroyed, or a 0.3% decrease week over week.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the SPDR S&P Insurance ETF (AMEX:KIE), which lost 1,300,000 of its units, representing a 25.0% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of KIE, in morning trading today MBIA (NYSE:MBI) is down about 2.1%, and Fidelity National Financial (NYSE:FNF) is lower by about 1.2%.
